Yep, that's my girl Stacey...smiling...in labor. She's my superwoman. After months of not taking, but teachingJazzercise with "Baby Boy" in tow, she and Kelly finally made it to their special day at Durham Regional.
The scene in the waiting room was all smiles too (minus the pain, unless you count the pain of waiting). Grandpa Mike tried to concentrate on the game with the boys for some distraction, but we all know he was jumping up and down on the inside.
The waiting room erupted when we finally received word of some action. "7lbs, 11oz" was the text message from the new daddy that sent the family and friends in that room into a frenzy a little before 12:30 a.m. on March 24.
Eli Samuel Davis, only a few minutes after his birth.
Congratulations Stacey and Kelly! We looooooove baby Eli and can't wait to watch him grow!

not only am i so blessed to have the sweetest, most beautiful baby boy and doting husband to care for us, but I also am so blessed to have the bestest friend in the world who knows exactly when to have her camera ready. i will cherish these pictures forever and ever.
this made me cry - Great Job Allison!! Great, great photos - you captured all the emotion and all the beauty of this event! Sue Horne - a fan of Sandfoot Photography
thanks for stopping by. this blog is designed for me to give you a little bit more than you see at sandfootphotography.com, to let you know exactly who i am, and to talk about what it is that keeps me snapping.
i'm a smalltown girl, a beach girl, and a carolina girl. in 2007, i lost my mind and left a perfectly successful career in public relations to pursue one of my two favorite activities in life: photography (one day i'll be too old and crippled to dance). so here i am, trading in my heels and power suit for flip flops and a camera. i am owner of Sandfoot Photography - and i am fully confident that losing my mind was the best thing i ever did.
